Following operations were made to the lathe on retrofitting:
- New casted bedway;
- All the guideways of the bed were new grinded;
- All the friction surfaces are plated;
- The oiling installation is repaired ;
- The gear box, carriage, slides and tail stock were dismantled, checked all the parts and replaced the worn out one;
- New electrical cabinet with Schrack components and new cables and cables support;
- 55 KW old DC motor with new Siemens driver;
- New Siemens feed motors with Siemens driver ;
- New control panel;
- The machine new painted
